Best time to go.

Kenya does not experience seasonal variations to its climate - caused by rainfall patterns rather than changes in temperature. Most parts of the country receive two rainy seasons annually (one long and one short). The long rains fall between April and June and short rains between October and December.

Main tourist season.

July - October and January - March are the main tourist seasons. There are however some advantages to travelling during the low season - it doesn't rain all the time and you can still have a very enjoyable holiday. If you don't like hot weather, then this may be the best time for you.

Tourist accommodation fees tend to be lower during the off season and you will find no problem getting exactly what you want.
